Raktagar, The Fire Forged Champion
The champion known as Raktagar went by another name in another life, Tritus. A powerful warlord, he sowed fear in his enemies with his battle prowess and his fearsome axe. Father to Zilla, he doted on his daughter teaching her everything he knew, until the fateful day of his death at the hands of two rival warlords and an elemental of fire.
Zilla now in league with the Veiled Emissary was taken to the lands of the dead whereupon she found her fathers spirit. However what she found was a mockery of what he was in life, a weak whimpering thing, unable to defend himself from the predators of this land. Bartering a deal with the Veiled Emissary, he gifted her with another rebirth.
Flung into the fires of the land, Tritus’ soul was purged and what emerged from the fiery lake was his old self in a form better suited to the plans of the Emissary. Violence manifest, Raktagar was born a brooding and volatile Minotaur.
He is a maelstrom on the battlefield, once roused his powerful muscled body sparks into flame. Gouts of fire wash over the enemy as they endeavour to combat him, either falling to fire or his great double headed axe. Many lives of mortal and immortal alike have been taken by this undefeated brute.
Zilla reunited with her father takes great joy in sending her champion out to challenge any who deem themselves worthy to defeat him. Alas the outcome is always the same - the roaring behemoth, Raktagar, standing astride a headless corpse.
